WPB Green My School Pilot Program
The WPB Green My School is a program administered and organized by the City of West Palm Beach Office of Sustainability. It is made available exclusively for schools within WPB City limits. The program goal is to assist WPB schools in attaining the county adopted and community supported Green School Recognition certificate.

Classroom Earth – Classroom Earth is an online resource designed to help high school teachers include environmental content in their daily lesson plans.
A set of climate literacy and energy awareness principles that provides a framework for teaching the science behind these issues. Each summary links to a more detailed discussion of what makes the topic important, why it can be challenging to teach, and suggestions for grade-level specific teaching strategies and links to relevant teaching materials. Greening Schools – The purpose of the project was to help schools provide a safe and healthy environment. The project was also designed to provide teachers with standards-based tools to introduce the concepts of waste reduction and pollution prevention to students.

Kids For Saving Earth – The mission of Kids for Saving Earth is to educate, inspire, and empower children to protect the Earth’s environment.

The School and Community Reuse Action Project – Collects reusable materials from businesses and sends them to local schools.

Watt Watchers – A Texas state program that has resources for schools to start energy conservation efforts.
Palm Beach Soil and Water Conservation District – strives to educate local land users, residents and businesses on ways to protect our natural resources, promote best management practices and conserve, improve and sustain the environment.
