West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio, during a recent weekly media briefing, was asked about the Christmas night curfew.
(West Palm Beach, FL) – Following its success last year, the city will be enforcing a Christmas night curfew once again for the downtown area.
On December 25th, teens under the age of 18 will need to be with an adult after 9:00pm. Teens under 18 who are in the downtown area after 9:00pm without being accompanied by an adult will have their families contacted, and will need to be picked up by an adult.
The Christmas night curfew was started last year, and proved to be a successful way of reducing the number of teen-related issues in the downtown area.
