Program gives you an extension to pay the electric bill, you have to have a hardship case to qualify.

2.  The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program “LIHEAP”

It helps everyone including seniors, they must have an FPL Final Notice, and must be at 150% of Federal Poverty Guidelines.

3.  The Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program “EHEAP”

It helps seniors over the age of 60 with electric bills, currently helping those living south of Hypoluxo Road.  There must be a past due electric bill or a turn off notice.

4.  PBC Division of Human Services / FPLCare to Share Program

FPL Care to Share Program can assist one time a year with up to $750 for electric bills.  Apply through PBC Division of Human Services.
