The Logistics Division maintains all equipment, supplies and logistical needs of the Department including many pieces of small equipment including portable pumps, compressors, chainsaws, smoke ejectors, hose, nozzles, appliances, Breathing Apparatus, and Protective Clothing. Maintenance and distribution of these supplies is coordinated by a Fire Equipment Specialist.
Vehicle maintenance is provided from two sources. Emergency Response Fire and EMS apparatus is serviced and maintained through an inter-local agreement with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. Service is provided by Certified Emergency Vehicle Technicians and third party aerial, ladder, and pump testing is conducted annually. Maintenance of Staff vehicles and ancillary equipment is provided by the City Fleet Maintenance Division.
