Mickens Moore

We are revitalizing The Mickens Moore historic residence to establish a delightful Bed & Breakfast or potentially affordable housing opportunity. The project encompasses the restoration of a two-story building and the construction of two Frame-Vernacular replicas designed for a Community Exhibit Space. With the relocation of the Gardenia Building to the site and ongoing foundation and stabilization efforts, we are advancing towards offering genuine lodging experiences that honor our vibrant heritage.
