The Engineering Services Department works collaboratively with all departments to maintain, design and construct the existing and future infrastructure essential to the safety, health and quality of life for the citizens, businesses, and visitors of West Palm Beach.
Beyond infrastructure, the Department manages a coordinated multimodal transportation system that prioritizes safety of all users through state-of-the-art traffic engineering and planning practices, and provides mobility options for our growing city.
Traffic Engineering keeps our streets in optimal condition to allow traffic to flow smoothly. The Traffic Division is involved in the planning, design, construction and operations of our roadways. Mobility and Transportation Engineering is involved in planning, design and operations to ensure multimodal transportation means are available within the City.
