Quick Actions Saved Youngster's Life

The NBC Today show highlighted the actions of West Palm Beach Fire Department Paramedics who worked to save a youngster, 6-year-old Oscar Stuebe. Oscar was struck in the chest by a fly ball during a game at Phipps Park in West Palm Beach. The boy's mother, Sarah Stuebe, started CPR until paramedics from West Palm Beach Fire Station 2 could arrive and take over, then get the youngster to St. Mary's Medical Center. The station, located at 4301 South Dixie Highway, is adjacent to Phipps Park.

Here is the interview with Oscar's mom on the Today Show.

WPB TV18 was there when Oscar met his paramedic heroes at Station 2, 4301 South Dixie Highway.
