At Mandel Fan Fest, cosplay is very much encouraged! Due to this being a mini convention in a public library shared with others, we have a few guidelines that must be followed:
• This convention is PG-13 to keep things accessible for as many people as possible. Please keep this in mind when choosing a cosplay. You may be asked to leave if your cosplay does not fall within these guidelines to the discretion of library staff.
• Do not bring weapons of any kind, even if they are obviously fake or made from foam, wood, or plastic. We have no one to check weapons for safety. Please leave them at home! You will be asked to leave weapons in your car, or to leave the premises if you are found to have weapons on you.
