NOTE: cloudLibrary and hoopla Changes Coming October 2024
Beginning Tuesday, October 1, 2024 the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach is making the following changes to our digital resources:
- Reducing cloudLibrary holds from 10 to 8 at a time
- Reducing cloudLibrary suggestions from 10 to 8 per month
- Reducing hoopla borrows from 15 to 8 per month
Please note that if you have more than 10 holds on digital items on October 1, you will not lose your holds. You just will not be able to add new holds until you are within the new holds limit.
Ebooks & Magazines
- CloudLibrary is your go-to app for brand-new ebooks - including bestsellers - as well as older favorites.
- Hoopla provides a wide selection of ebooks for both kids and adults - with no holds and no waiting.
- CloudLibrary NewsStand app offers instant access to thousands of popular magazines and newspapers in a variety of interests and languages. No limits, no waiting.
- The Palace Project allows you to borrow ebooks from all of the major vendors, including Palace Marketplace, which offers a diverse mix of titles from major publishers, dozens of independent publishers, and Amazon Publishing. Get the app for iOS and Android.
Audiobooks
- Brand new audiobooks on CloudLibrary as well - including bestsellers. Listen right in the app on your mobile device.
- Hoopla has a huge selection of audiobooks for both kids and adults - download and listen right in the app.
