UPDATE: CURRIE PARK BOAT RAMPS SET TO OPEN MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
South staging dock, ramps to open; North staging dock remains under construction through June.
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (May 21, 2019) – The City of West Palm Beach will begin opening the Currie Park boat ramps, located at 2400 N. Flagler Drive, on Saturday, May 25, 2019—just in time for mariners wanting to get out on the water for Memorial Day weekend!
On Saturday, the City will open the south staging dock and ramps, which can accommodate boats with a recommended maximum size of 28 feet and 8,000 pounds. The north staging dock is still under construction and closed through June 2019.
The City closed the boat ramps last summer to make engineering and structural improvements that will improve ease of access to the waterway for boaters. The Currie Park boat ramps offer convenient, direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway.
NOTICE: Starting on January 1, 2017, Parking Permits will be required for all boat trailer parking at the Currie Park Boat Ramps. Annual permits are valid for the calendar year, January 1 - December 31.
