Nighttime Repaving to Close Westbound Lane of Okeechobee Boulevard

The outside westbound lane of Okeechobee Boulevard will be closed for three nights for milling and repaving from South Dixie Highway to Tamarind Avenue. Work will begin on Monday, April 14, 2025, and be completed by Thursday morning, April 17, 2025. Crews will close the lane each night at 8 p.m. and reopen it at 6 a.m.

City Docks and Sailing Instruction

The City of West Palm Beach's downtown waterfront provides access to the Intracoastal Waterway for all to enjoy.

The docks are open on a first come, first serve basis seven days a week from 5 a.m. to midnight. Use of the docks is free for non-commercial boats. Rafting up is not permitted.

If you don't own a boat, Visit Palm Beach offers recreational opportunities including jet ski/wave runner, paddleboard, and kayak rentals. You can also take a cruise on the Hakuna-Matata Catamaran that calls the Downtown waterfront its home port. For more information: VisitPalmBeach.com.
