Celebrate the City's New Commuter Connection Greenway!

Ribbon-cutting, free giveaways, and more at the newly expanded Clear Lake Trail.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Join Mayor Keith A. James in celebrating the City’s newly expanded Clear Lake Trail, located on the west side of Clear Lake between Okeechobee Blvd. and Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. Mayor James will officially unveil the new commuter connector greenway with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, encouraging residents to explore and enjoy the boardwalk and pathway. This event will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. The ribbon-cutting ceremony(PDF, 3MB) will be at 10 a.m. at the trail’s entrance located at 360 Presidio Pl., West Palm Beach. This is a free event.

Event Highlights:

• 10 a.m. Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony.

• Free Giveaways: Fanny Pack, Cooling Towel, Bike Bell, and more!

• Snow Cones from the WPB Police Dept. 

• Available BrightBikes to cruise the trail.

The Clear Lake Trail is made possible through grants from the Palm Beach County Transportation Planning Agency, the State of Florida Forestry Service, and the City of West Palm Beach’s Office of Housing and Community Development. Plans are to expand the trail to include a boardwalk extending from Okeechobee Blvd. to Australian Blvd.
