Spooky Season Festivities Take Over the West Palm Beach Waterfront
During the City’s Annual Clematis by Fright

On Thursday, Oct. 24, residents are invited to attend this FREE, family-friendly Halloween celebration,
featuring
safe trick-or-treating with City officials, live music, games, and more!

Who: Residents and visitors of all ages — costumes encouraged! 
First Responders and West Palm Beach personnel handing out candy.

What: Clematis by Fright is a spooky twist on the weekly Clematis by Night concert series. This Halloween celebration is FREE and full of FUN. The event will feature:

Halloween activities include:

  • "Trick-or-Truck,” where kids can safely get candy from first responders and public works vehicles

  • Roving entertainment

  • Hayrides

  • Face painting with spooktacular Halloween designs to choose from

  • Balloon artist

  • Inflatable games

  • Live music by the ’80s cover band Nerd Ranger

NEW: A raffle open to ALL attendees offers great prizes for adults and kids!

  • To enter, attendees must fill out a raffle ticket at the Spooktacular Raffle Tent.

  • Registration for the raffle is from 6 – 7 p.m. Winners will be announced at 7:50 p.m.

  • Winners will be selected in three categories — adults, children and pets — with only one prize winner per category.

  • Prizes include restaurant gift cards, a sailing happy hour for 40 people aboard Visit Palm Beach’s Hakuna Matata, a family-four pack to a Florida Panthers game, and more.

Where: Waterfront Commons, 100 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401

Note: The closest public parking garage is the Banyan Public Parking Garage, located at Banyan Boulevard and Narcissus Avenue.

Why: Clematis by Fright is a Halloween twist on the award-winning weekly concert series Clematis by Night, where music and memories are made. The City of West Palm Beach has hosted Clematis by Night along the Intracoastal every Thursday from 6 – 9 p.m. for nearly three decades. Clematis by Night includes live performances of various music genres from popular national, regional and local bands alongside on-site food and drink vendors. Admission is free, including during special occasions, such as Clematis by Fright.

OF NOTE: Clematis by Fright is Thursday, Oct. 24. There will NOT be special, holiday-themed activities at the regularly scheduled Clematis by Night on October 31.
