WEST PALM BEACH, FL — The Ben Hotel, an Autograph Collection property renowned for delivering unique and memorable events, is thrilled to announce the opening of South Florida’s first and only outdoor ice-skating rink, running from November 2, 2024, to March 1, 2025. This one-of-a-kind experience, set to transport visitors to a winter wonderland right in the heart of West Palm Beach, will feature Aspen-inspired chalets and introduce four new food and beverage concepts.
Known for its inventive events, including the popular Princess Brunch, Afternoon Tea Networking Events, Trivia Nights, and engaging rooftop activations, The Ben Hotel continues to bring "Exactly Like Nothing Else" experiences to its community, in line with Autograph Collection’s slogan. With this latest endeavor, the hotel invites guests to experience an authentic winter season in a tropical setting.
A Unique Winter Wonderland Experience
The Ben Hotel’s Winter Wonderland will transform its outdoor space into an "Instagramable" escape, with specialized lighting, music, and festive decorations designed to make guests feel as though they have stepped into a faraway snow-capped village while still under Florida’s palm trees. Families, friends, and couples are invited to lace up their skates and enjoy a real outdoor ice-skating rink, a rare treat in South Florida, made possible by Ice America’s cutting-edge technology.

The rink will stay frozen thanks to a state-of-the-art refrigeration system developed by Ice America, using aluminum coils to continuously freeze the ice, ensuring a high-quality skating experience. Founded by a couple from Southern California, Ice America’s vision was to create a sustainable solution for real outdoor ice-skating in warm climates, and The Ben Hotel is proud to bring this experience to West Palm Beach.
A Full Seasonal Lineup
The Winter Wonderland experience will not stop at ice skating. The Ben Hotel will offer themed food and beverages inspired by cozy winter lodges, along with a VIP area for special guests. The space will host a variety of seasonal events, including family-friendly activities and exclusive themed parties throughout the duration of the installation. Ice skates are available for the entire family to rent, and all ages are welcome to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience.

Opening Schedule and Event Details
