Due to expected weather conditions related to Hurricane Milton, City Hall and City Facilities that are not public safety or 24/7 essential operations are closed through Thursday, October 10, 2024. This includes all park facilities and the Mandel Public Library. City Operations will resume as normal on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Hurricane Milton will be a major hurricane with direct impacts to the west coast of Florida. We are under a Flood Watch until Friday at 8 a.m. PREPARE, PLAN AHEAD, and AVOID flooded areas. Please review the City's Hurricane Readiness Guide. Take this storm seriously and prepare accordingly. Please keep an eye on weather updates. City parking garages are open for free parking until Friday at 6 a.m.
Due to anticipated weather conditions from Hurricane Milton, all sanitation services, including special pickups, will be suspended on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024. If your trash service is missed due to the storm, our team will collect excess trash on your next regularly scheduled service day. We expect to resume normal operations on Friday, Oct. 11.
