State Representative Jervonte Edmonds Partners with Local Elected Leaders for Farm Share FoodDrive-Thru Event to Alleviate Hunger

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — State Representative Jervonte Edmonds is proud to announce a collaborative effort to combat hunger and malnutrition in the community with the upcoming Farm Share Food Drive-Thru event. Scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., the event will be held at Manifest Church in West Palm Beach.

In partnership with U.S. Representative Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, County Commissioner Mack Bernard, State Senator Bobby Powell, and West Palm Beach Mayor Keith A. James, this initiative aims to provide fresh and nutritious food to those in need on a first-come, first-served basis.

“Everyone deserves access to healthy, nutritious meals. There are countless individuals and families who struggle with food insecurity in our community every day, and it’s collaborative efforts like this that help bring much-needed relief to those who need it most,” said Mayor Keith A. James.

Farm Share, Inc., a well-established non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and malnutrition, will supply the food. Since its inception in 1991, Farm Share has been committed to distributing surplus food to those who need it most, ensuring no person goes hungry.

“Food insecurity is a significant issue in our community, and it is our responsibility to ensure that no family goes hungry,” said State Representative Jervonte Edmonds. “This Farm Share Food Drive-Thru event is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together to support our neighbors.”
