Palm Beach County Approves 5 Acres for UF Urban Campus

During the County Commission meeting on Monday, August 22, Mayor Keith A. James addressed county commissioners in support of the University of Florida urban campus in downtown West Palm Beach. The initiative will bring innovative tech, graduate and business programs to our city.

August 22, 2022 Proclaimed as Robert Sanders, Esq. Day in West Palm Beach

During the city commission meeting on Monday, August 22, Mayor Keith James led a tribute to Robert Sanders for his 40 years of service to city residents and businesses. During his tenure, Robert served as city manager, city attorney and director of economic development. His public service and philanthropic efforts have benefitted countless individuals.

City Hall, Mandel Public Library to Observe Labor Day

City Hall and the Mandel Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 5, 2022 in observance of Labor Day. City Hall and the library will reopen on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., respectively. Trash collection services will be provided as scheduled.

FY '23 Budget Hearings on September 8, September 22

The City will hold two public hearings to determine the Fiscal Year '23 budget and millage rate. The proposed budget was developed following community input meetings with residents and commission workshops.

The next city commission meeting will be held on September 6 at 5 p.m. at City Hall, 401 Clematis St. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
