Free Tree Giveaway on December 3

The City's Office of Sustainability will be giving away trees at Dreher Park South from 10 - 11:30 a.m. Claim your tree and help us reach our goal of planting 10,000 trees by 2025! Applications are required and will close on November 30, or when capacity is reached.

City Recognized as Global Leader in Environmental Action

CDP has recognized the City as one of 123 municipalities worldwide that is taking bold leadership on environmental action and transparency, despite the pressures of a challenging global economic situation.

City Hall, Mandel Library to ObserveThanksgiving

City Hall and the Mandel Library will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 for the holiday. There will be no sanitation services on Thanksgiving Day.

Village Boulevard Pavement Restoration Begins

This project will begin at the end of November and will last approximately 90 days. Residents and business owners should expect temporary lane closures during this time.

Mayor's Jumpstart Academy

Mayor Keith A. James created the Mayor's Jumpstart Academy to help local aspiring business owners learn more about how to succesfully implement their enterprises. This initiative is in partnership with the Urban League of Palm Beach County, Justine Petersen and the Co.Starters network.

Virtual Reality Experience: Visualizing Sea Level Rise October 29 - November 21

The City has teamed up with Florida Atlantic University for an immersive, educational look at how sea level rise could affect your community. The public is encouraged to participate and learn more about how you can help combat the effects of climate change.

Through the City's and FAMU's Cooperative Extension Program, the public will have the chance to attend two 8-week events series. One focuses on nutrition and the other on a variety of health and safety topics.
