GreenMarket Returns to the Waterfront

The award-winning GreenMarket is back for its 2022-2023 season! This year's event includes more than 100 vendors selling fresh produce, baked goods, coffees, teas and more. The GreenMarket will be held every Saturday through April on the Great Lawn, 100 N. Clematis Street, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Historic Northwest Community Meeting, Sunset Lounge Open House on October 8

Join the CRA for their quarterly community meeting for the Historic Northwest neighborhood and open house of the Sunset Lounge. Hear updates on public safety and quality of life initiatives, as well as a presentation from artist Nekisha Durrett on her concept for the Heart & Soul Park public art.

See the progress of the Sunset Lounge and meet the development team. Open house will immediately follow the meeting. Please RSVP in advance.

Rain Barrel Giveaway on October 6

The City's Office of Sustainability will host a FREE rain barrel giveaway for City water customers. Barrels will be available while supplies last. Registration is required.

WHEN: Thursday, October 6, 5 - 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Cox Science Center and Aquarium (Stiles-Nicholson STEM Edu. Center), 4800 Dreher Trail N.

Recent Policy Actions, Next City Commission Meeting

The next city commission meeting will be held on October 3, 5 p.m. at City Hall, 401 Clematis Street. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
