The GreenMarket is officially open for its '22-'23 season! This year's campaign features long-standing, beloved vendors as well as several new names. Family-owned and operated Jerry's Here Farm Fresh has become so engrained with the GreenMarket that the team has repeatedly committed to making the journey to West Palm Beach all the way from Homestead!

Imagine a Day Without Water on October 20

For many Americans, living without water is a hard reality, not something to be imagined. On this annual National Day of Action, thousands of people are coming together united on one clear call to action - to make 2022 the beginning-to-the-end of life without water for vulnerable populations.

We recently held an open house of the Sunset Lounge, offering a behind the scenes look at the current progress. Residents of all ages came out to learn more about the history and future of this iconic entertainment venue.

Virtual Reality Experience: Visualizing Sea Level Rise

The City has teamed up with Florida Atlantic University for an immersive, educational look at how sea level rise could affect your community. The public is encouraged to participate and learn more about how you can help combat the effects of climate change.

Upcoming Virtual, In-Person Courses Through Collaboration With FAMU

Through the City's and FAMU's Cooperative Extension Program, the public will have the chance to attend two 8-week events series. One will focus on nutrition and the other on a variety of health and safety topics.

‘Trunk or Treat’ Halloween Event on October 30

Families are invited to attend our annual “Trunk or Treat” Halloween celebration for an evening of safe trick or treating. The event will feature decorated vehicles, candy, music, refreshments and games. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

The next city commission meeting will be held on October 17, 5 p.m. at City Hall, 401 Clematis Street. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
