Helping Our Neighbors Affected by Hurricane Ian

Following Hurricane Ian's devastating impact on Florida's west coast, a crew from the City's Public Works Department jumped into action to assist with recovery efforts. The team will support relief plans any way they can, proving their commitment to not just our City's residents, but to anyone in need.

City Hall, Mandel Library to Observe Columbus Day

In observance of Columbus Day, City Hall and the Mandel Public Library will be closed on Monday, October 10. City Hall will reopen on Tuesday, October 11 at 8 a.m. and the library will re-open that same day at 9:30 a.m. Trash collection will operate as normally scheduled.

Mayor Keith A. James will present a proclamation for Indigenous Peoples’ Day at an upcoming city commission meeting.

Now Open: WPBKey Customer Service Portal Allows Residents to Submit, Track Requests

Mayor Keith James introduces this new service, which can be accessed through the City's homepage, mobile application or phone. Need help paying your water bill, requesting a new trash bin, fixing a sidewalk in your neighborhood or another matter? WPBKey connects you with experts to help address a variety of concerns!

Home Efficiency Upgrades Program on October 15

The public is encouraged to attend the FREE presentation on Saturday, October 15th from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. at the Pleasant City Community Center. Guests will learn how to make simple upgrades to their home with conservation kits and resources. Please RSVP in advance.

Upcoming Virtual, In-Person Courses Through Collaboration With FAMU

Through the City's and FAMU's Cooperative Extension Program, the public will have the chance to attend two 8-week events series. One will focus on nutrition and the other on a variety of health and safety topics.

‘Trunk or Treat’ Halloween Event Set on October 30

Families are invited to attend our annual “Trunk or Treat” Halloween celebration for an evening of safe trick or treating. The event will feature decorated vehicles, candy, music, refreshments and games. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Recent Policy Actions, Next City Commission Meeting

The next city commission meeting will be held on Monday, October 17, 5 p.m. at City Hall, 401 Clematis Street. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
