Sunset Lounge Awarded a Florida Preservation Award

The West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency and Historic Preservation Program were recently awarded a Florida Preservation Award at the Preservation on Main Street 2023 Conference. We are pleased to announce the Sunset Lounge was recognized for outstanding achievement in the field of restoration and rehabilitation.

Mayor James Makes Palm Beach Illustrated Top 100 List

Mayor Keith A. James of West Palm Beach has been recognized for his notable achievements, earning a spot in the esteemed Palm Beach Illustrated Top 100 list. Among the select group of individuals honored in the Top Leaders category, Mayor James' dedication to servicing the community has set him apart.

School Zone Upgrades Completed

as Kids Head Back to Class

As kids head back to class, the City of West Palm Beach is making the trip to and from school safer. Crews are now wrapping up work on upgrades to school crossings near all schools in the city.

West Palm Beach to Host Ribbon Cutting Event at Flagler Station: Affordable, Workforce Housing

West Palm Beach's Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is proud to announce the ribbon-cutting event for Flagler Station, the City's newest affordable/workforce housing development.

The event will take place on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. at 991 Banyan Blvd.

300 Block of Clematis Street 60-day Vehicular Road Closure

Due to construction work for the building adjacent to Roxy's Pub, the 300 Block of Clematis Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic. The road will remain open to pedestrian traffic during construction.

Construction is expected to be completed by Friday, Sept. 29.

The next City Commission meeting will be held on Monday, August 7 at 5 p.m. in City Hall, 401 Clematis Street. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
