Community Leaders Unite to Address Mental Health Crisis in West Palm Beach

Mayor Keith A. James is spearheading a critical discussion on mental health on Thursday, Sept. 7 at the Mandel Public Library Auditorium at 10 a.m. The Mayor urges the community and media to participate in this pivotal event. As part of his ongoing "Community Conversations" series, Mayor James is bringing together a diverse group of leaders to identify innovative approaches to address the mental health crisis facing the community.

City Hall & Mandel Public Library Closed for Labor Day

West Palm Beach City Hall and the Mandel Public Library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, in observance of Labor Day. Regular trash and garbage pickup services will be provided. On Tuesday, Sept. 5, City Hall will reopen at 8 a.m. and the Library will open at 9:30 a.m.

Local Businesses Receives Timely Support from New WPB City Grant Program

The Office of Small Minority/Women Business Programs at the City of West Palm Beach has announced the list of grant awardees of the First Steps: Small Business and Minority/Women Business Enterprise Grants.

When the grant program was announced in April, it was met with enthusiasm from small-, minority-, and women- business owners. The City awarded $500,000 in grants.
