City of West Palm Beach Invites Families to Enjoy Annual Holiday Pancake Breakfast
Gather around the breakfast table to enjoy Sandi’s Pancake Breakfast with Santa & Ferris hosted by the City of West Palm Beach. Join us on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 9, 10 or 11 a.m. The breakfast will feature a delicious pancake breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with close-up views of Sandi. Guests will also have private access to Ferris during his ONLY daytime rides of the season. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

West Palm Beach to Establish ‘North End’ Quiet Zone on Florida East Coast Railway
The City of West Palm Beach is actively working to establish a Quiet Zone in the City’s North End, specifically along the Florida East Coast Railway (FECR) spanning from 23rd Street to 49th Street. It became operational on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023. This initiative aims to enhance the overall quality of life and safety for both residents and visitors.

"Related Together" Announcement at Gaines Park
The Stephan Ross Emerging Scholars Program at Palm Beach State College Program
Earlier this week, an announcement at Gaines Park introduced Related Together, a newly established private grantmaking foundation aiming to support projects promoting change and economic development. With a focus on education, housing, employment, healthcare, arts, culture, and digital accessibility. To mark the foundation's launch, Stephen Ross, Founder and Chairman of Related Companies, pledged over $8 million for The Stephen M. Ross Emerging Scholars Program at Palm Beach State College.

Special Event Permitting on Clematis Street Update
After numerous trial periods and a review of the impact of the closures, the City of West Palm Beach will no longer approve recurring Special Event Road Closure Applications for multiple-day events on Clematis Street. Effective immediately under the new policy, the City is only accepting Special Event Road Closure Applications for one-day events on Clematis Street. All events must have been previously permitted on Clematis Street and will be required to meet all applicable City rules and regulations.

Empowering the next generation through science-led entrepreneurship
Florida residents, ages 4-18, are encouraged to apply for the Wave Makers STEM Competition! Depending on your age group, create a video and submit it with your application for a chance to win prizes including 4 VIP tickets to Cox Science Center, a signed Ocean Book, and a $5,000 educational scholarship,
Parents or guardian permission is required for students 13 and under.
