Three Community Input Meetings Announces for Proposed Boys & Girls Club and Readiness Center at Dreher Park

Attend one of the three community input meetings to discuss the proposed plan for Dreher Park. The new center will provide an opportunity to support young people in West Palm Beach with the opening of a fun, educational, and affordable place for them to spend their time after school and throughout the summer.

Annual National Night Out Event

Join the City of West Palm Beach Police Department on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 6 to 10 p.m. on Tamarind Ave. (between 7th and 10th St.) for their annual National Night Out. Celebrate this national event with dunk-a-chief, food, DJ, bounce house, backpack giveaway and an police static display.

As the new school year approaches, the Mandel Public Library is thrilled to welcome students back to school with a captivating lineup of August programming designed to enrich and assist students during their transitionary period back into school.

Back to School Sales Tax Holiday

Teacher's Shopping Spree

Rethink back-to-school shopping! If you are a teacher at a school located within the City of West Palm Beach, register for a FREE shopping spree at Resource Depot provided by the City of West Palm Beach Office of Sustainability. Resource Depot is stocked full of useful and unusual items that can help contribute to an upcycled, greener classroom. Join us August 3 or 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Resource Depot.

The next City Commission meeting will be held on Monday, August 7 at 5 p.m. in City Hall, 401 Clematis Street. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
