This esteemed award recognizes Mayor James as a distinguished member of Leadership Florida who has utilized the knowledge and relationships gained through his Leadership Florida experiences to significantly enhance the lives of fellow Floridians and create transformative moments for the community.
The City of West Palm Beach is proud to announce the passing of a highly-impactful ordinance that will allocate the $39,745 derived from the recaptured revenues from parking meters equipped with vehicle detection sensors towards funding various homeless initiatives. This decision signifies the City's commitment to addressing the critical issue of homelessness and providing support to those in need.

You can join your neighbors and help the Coleman Park Community Garden thrive! The garden, the first of three planned, is a joint-venture between the City and Florida A & M University's Cooperative Extension Office. No experience is necessary to become a community gardener. If you'd like to help, and take home free fruits and vegetables for your efforts, call (561) 822-1250.

The next City Commission meeting will be held on Monday, June 26 at 5 p.m. in City Hall, 401 Clemtais Street. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
