You're Invited: Help Finish a West Palm Beach Community Quilt

ArtLife West Palm Beach, the City of West Palm Beach’s public art program, announces a Community Quilt event featuring artist Gillian Kennedy Wright. Join us on Sunday, Oct. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Studio 411, Mandel Public Library, 411 Clematis Street.

Residents are invited to add cotton fabric hearts to the West Palm Beach Tapestry, guided by Gillian. The finished quilt will become part of a new installation to be debuted in City Hall.

Clematis By Fright Wants You to

'Unwrap The Waves'

The Unwrap the Wave Initiative allows for students and community members to get into the "spirit" of conservation during Clematis by Fright on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 6 - 9 p.m. by collecting their candy wrappers and recycling them. The program aims to raise awareness of the large amount of single-use waste produced from Halloween activities.
