City of WPB Hosting Community Education and Engagement Outreach Workshops in Each Commission District

The City of West Palm Beach continues to host a series of community education and engagement outreach workshop events.

The final event will take place tonight, Thursday, Oct. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Palm Beach Lakes High School in District 4. Join Commissioner Peduzzi and leaders of the City of West Palm Beach to discuss their upcoming plans and goals, give feedback, and ask questions.

WPB GreenMarket Opening Day Ceremony for 2023-24 Season

In celebration of the return of the West Palm Beach GreenMarket season, the City of West Palm Beach will kick off the 29th Season with a special opening day ceremony. The interactive visual will feature a fun activity and remarks from City Commission to signify the start of the season.

Join us Saturday, Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Ceremony to take place at 10:15 a.m.)

City Visioning Sessions: Make Your Voice Heard!

Mayor Keith A. James wants to hear from residents about their interests and concerns. That's what's behind a series of visioning sessions held in locations around the City. Residents will have a chance to meet City Commissioners, leaders and department representatives, and also give their input. For more information, visit wpb.org.

Related Philanthropic Foundation Awards Mayor's Jumpstart Academy

The City of West Palm Beach is proud to announce a $100,000 donation from the Related Philanthropic Foundation, the charitable arm of Related Group. The generous contribution will directly support the Mayor’s Jumpstart Academy, an initiative aimed at providing credit building and entrepreneurship training to underrepresented and underserved communities.

Members of the public joined the West Palm Beach Police Department to celebrate National Coffee with a Cop Day. The community gathered at Salento's Coffee to interact and converse with our dedicated officers over a cup of coffee and pastries.

The West Palm Beach Fire Department Tests Aspiring Firefighters

It's 'everybody into the pool' as aspiring West Palm Beach firefighters take the swim test that's part of the application process with the department.

City Hall and Mandel Public Library Closed on Columbus Day

West Palm Beach City Hall and the Mandel Public Library will be closed on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, in observance of Columbus Day. Regular trash and garbage pickup services will be provided. On Tuesday, Oct. 10, City Hall will reopen at 8 a.m., and the Library will open at 9:30 a.m.

Next City Commission Meeting

The next City Commission meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. in City Hall, 401 Clematis Street. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
