Leon Pinder - The Road to Leadership
The City of West Palm Beach is a place where hard work and dedication does pay off. There is the promise of career development and professional growth for those who do their jobs well. A good example of this is Leon Pinder, who started with one of the toughest jobs in the City and is now the leader of one of the busiest departments. We talk to Leon in this episode about his experiences and what motivated him to become a leader.

Brightline is now offering service between Miami and Orlando, and you can board the train from the downtown West Palm Beach station.

An honorary Clematis by Night is taking place tonight (Thursday) to celebrate long-time, part-time Palm Beach County resident, Jimmy Buffett. The celebration will include a well known Buffett tribute band, The Caribbean Chillers, and remarks from City Commissioner President Shalonda Warren. Join us for music, local food/beverage vendors, and special giveaways tonight from 6 to 9 p.m.
The City of West Palm Beach continues to host a series of community education and engagement outreach workshop events. These events are hosted in each of the commission districts on the following dates from 6 to 8 p.m.:

The next City Commission meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 2 at 5 p.m. in City Hall, 401 Clematis Street. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
