If you think you have to head up north to ice skate outdoors, guess again! There's a new ice-skating rink right outside the Ben Hotel in Downtown West Palm Beach, and it's already drawing a crowd! It's real ice, not artificial, and it stays frozen even when the temperature is in the 80s. Here's a look at how it's going!

This may spark your interest, West Palm Beach!⚡🔋 We are excited to announce the installation of NEW electric vehicle (EV) charging stations by Blink Charging Co. in three of our City’s parking garages this November!
This initiative is part of the City’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and promoting the use of EV vehicles. The charging stations are efficient, convenient, and affordable!
“We are excited to partner with Blink Charging Co. to enhance our City’s EV infrastructure,” said Mayor Keith A. James. “This initiative not only supports our environmental goals but also provides residents and visitors with a convenient and more reliable source of power for their EVs whenever they need.”
The newly installed Blink charging stations will be easily accessible in the following parking garages: Clematis, Evernia, and City Center, making it more convenient for residents and visitors to charge their electric vehicles while in the City.
All installations of the new charging stations are expected to be completed by December 2024.

Forty people who were previously homeless for at least a year have been transitioned into stable, permanent housing thanks to the City of West Palm Beach and partnering organizations. It's part of a major initiative to combat homelessness in our area.

The City of West Palm Beach, in partnership with Manpower, a global leader in temporary and permanent staffing, will host a Hiring Event & Expo at the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach, in addition to providing the auditorium event space, will provide career coaching for on-site resume review and interview preparation.
