All of us here at the City wish you and your loved ones a safe and Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Joyous Kwanzaa! Please note that City Hall and the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, and Thursday, December 26, and both will be closed on Wednesday, January 1. There will be no trash/bulk pickup on December 25 or January 1 (all sanitation services will resume on Thursday, December 26, and Thursday, January 2, respectively).

Embrace the holiday spirit with a trip to see Sandi Tree and a ride on Ferris (buy tickets ahead of time online or in-person). They will be lighting up the night and on full display until New Year's Eve!
On Tuesday, Dec. 31, there will be an extended music and light show, running every 15 minutes between 6 p.m. – midnight. This celebration of the New Year will be Sandi's final event!

Also, don't forget to visit Sandi's llama friends — you can find the sand sculptures along the Waterfront!
Come see the different sand sculptures, including Sandi Tree herself, night or day.
It's a great way to spend your holiday evenings with kids and family!

The City of West Palm Beach is partnering with the COX Science Center for our January Screen on the Green Dinosaur Double Feature in an official attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as dinosaurs! January Highlight: Web Development Boot Camp
Mondays, 6 – 8 p.m. | January 6, 13 & 27
Join us for a month-long boot camp to learn web development from Elvis Hidalgo! Expect homework outside of class and hands-on learning. Please note that if you sign up for this boot camp, you are signing up for every class in the month and are expected to attend every class. This is an application-based program; not all applicants may be chosen. For ages 16 and up. Intermediate computer skills are required.

Next City Commission Meeting
The City Commission Meeting on December 23 has been cancelled. The next City Commission Meeting will be held on Monday, Jan. 6, at 5 p.m. in City Hall, 401 Clematis Street. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
