"The Mini" Returns to
the West Palm Beach Waterfront
The famed West Palm Beach GreenMarket will be back in its smaller summer version for a limited time. “The Mini,” is returning to the Waterfront on Thursday, May 9, during Clematis by Night from 6 – 9 p.m. The smaller version of the popular seasonal Saturday staple will feature a variety of the Market’s vendors selling various fruits and vegetables, plants, beverages, cheeses, spices, specialty items, and more. The Market will take place weekly through June, ending on Thursday, June 27.

Enhancement Underway at Grassy Waters Preserve: Everglades Adventures Continue Amid Nature Center Improvements
The City of West Palm Beach is excited to announce that while weather-hardening improvements are underway at the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center, Everglades Adventures will remain open to residents and visitors for immersive experiences amidst the stunning wetlands landscape.
Starting on or about Monday, May 6, 2024, the Nature Center will temporarily close to the public as construction commences on enhancement projects. Anticipated to last through May, these upgrades signify our commitment to preserving and enhancing this vital natural resource.

West Palm Beach Banyan Improvement Project – Road Closure Plan
The City of West Palm Beach is pleased to announce the start of a major improvement project along Banyan Boulevard, focusing on underground utilities and roadway enhancements. Scheduled to commence on May 14, 2024, the project will include Banyan Boulevard between North Dixie Highway and North Olive Avenue. The goal is to upgrade underground utilities and implement new drainage infrastructure for improved stormwater management.

With the onset of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season drawing near, the City of West Palm Beach is reminding residents of the critical importance of readiness in the face of potential storms. While we remain hopeful for a calm season, it is imperative to be fully prepared for any eventuality. The season, spanning from June 1 to Nov. 30, 2024, is when tropical storms and hurricanes are anticipated to form in the Atlantic.
