West Palm Beach GreenMarket Celebrates Return of

Rovers in the Park Presented by Land Rover Palm Beach

Saturday, February 22, Starting at 10:30 a.m.
The tail-wagging event is back, inviting the public and their leashed pets to a dog fashion show.

Who:                    City of West Palm Beach

Local pet rescues, including:

  • Big Dog Ranch Rescue

  • Furry Friends Humane, Clinic & Ranch

  • Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League

  • Palm Beach County Division of Animal Care & Control

  • Tri County Animal Rescue

  • GTS Husky Rescue

  • South Florida Mutt Rescue

Pet fashion show dogs accompanied by their owners.

Adoptable dogs from local rescues.

Pet-specific vendors with products and services.

Residents and visitors of all ages as spectators.

 

What:                  Dogs large and small will walk down the runway with their owners and handlers during the second annual Rovers in the Park presented by Land Rover Palm Beach at the West Palm Beach GreenMarket.

 

The fashion show will be a fun, tail-wagging, great time for the community to enjoy. The event will highlight local animal rescue organizations and encourage adoptions with adoptable pets on-site from the participating rescues. Spectators      and their furry companions are invited to explore a variety of pet-related vendors and services, including an artist who can paint a portrait of their pet.  Additionally, there will be a workshop where participants can learn to create                 personalized dog tags, providing a unique opportunity for customization and creativity.

 

Attendees are encouraged to shop at the West Palm Beach GreenMarket before and after the fashion show. The GreenMarket is currently in its 30th season, featuring more than 130 vendors, including 17 new ones. Vendors offer a diverse selection of fresh produce, freshly baked bread, meats and fish, desserts, and ready-to-enjoy breakfast and lunch options, among other items.

 

When:                 Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025

  • GreenMarket hours are 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

  • Fashion show starts promptly at 10:30 a.m.

 

Where:               Great Lawn 100 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401

 

Public Information:    Admission to Rovers in the Park and the West Palm Beach GreenMarket is free. Dogs on short leashes are allowed. Parking is available in the City of West Palm Beach’s public garages, which are the Clematis, Banyan, City Center, Sapodilla and Evernia garages. The Banyan and Evernia garages are closest to the event and are subject to the City’s all-day weekend flat rate of $5. The City Center, Clematis and Sapodilla garages are free during market hours, with current parking rates in effect afterward. Those interested in arriving by boat can also take advantage of the City's free public docks. The Clematis Street Dock is the closest dock to the market.
