Vendor Applications Now Open for Top U.S. Farmers Market in West Palm Beach
The West Palm Beach GreenMarket seeks diverse, new vendors for upcoming seasons
WEST PALM BEACH, FL — While at the height of its success in its 30th anniversary season, West Palm Beach GreenMarket organizers are turning their attention to planning for the next two seasons. The City is now accepting applications from new and diverse vendors for the upcoming 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 seasons. The application form is available for two years on the City’s website at wpb.org/events. The deadline to apply is Monday, March 31, 2025.
“We are excited to invite new vendors to join the prestigious West Palm Beach GreenMarket as we build on the success of 30 seasons,” said West Palm Beach Mayor Keith A. James. “Our award-winning market owes its excellence to the incredible vendors who have been part of this special journey, and we’re looking forward to welcoming new small businesses to the mix. If you have something special to say, we encourage you to apply and join our celebrated tradition. Best of luck to all applicants!”
The famed market — named the “Best Farmers Market” in the U.S. by USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice for three years in a row (in 2021, 2022, and 2023) and again ranked in the top three in 2024 — has also been featured in The Boston Globe and named the No. 1 greenmarket in Florida by Cooking Light magazine. In 2021, the GreenMarket was recognized by VISIT FLORIDA with a prestigious silver Flagler Award at the tourism marketing cooperative’s annual Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism.
The annual application process for the West Palm Beach GreenMarket takes place every March. This year’s application will cover two seasons, welcoming vendors with unique products in selected categories. To be considered, vendors’ products must fall within one of the ten designated categories:
“Our market thrives on unique offerings,” said Angela Poco, Community Events Manager for the City of West Palm Beach. “We aim to continue making the West Palm Beach GreenMarket one of the best in the country with fresh, innovative products that captivate visitors. We look forward to welcoming new, incredible vendors who will bring their passion and creativity to our vibrant community.”
Every season, the GreenMarket attracts visitors with fresh produce, baked goods, coffees, teas, plants, and specialty items. It aims to provide seasonal access to locally grown fruits, vegetables, plants, and agricultural products, supporting agricultural development in southeast Florida, particularly Palm Beach County. The market operates weekly on Saturdays through April 26, except on March 22, due to the Palm Beach International Boat Show. The 31st season of the GreenMarket will open on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, and run through Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Sponsors of the current season include: West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, Land Rover Palm Beach, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Health Specialty Center, Florida Blue, Nordic Tree Water, Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, AYR Florida, Spa Wellness Services, SUNNY 107.9, NEW COUNTRY 103.1, WPB Magazine, West Palm Beach Food Tours, The Palm Beach Post, Downtown West Palm Beach, Florida Prepaid College Savings Plan, and WPBF 25.
The GreenMarket does not accept vendors selling antiques, clothing, jewelry, or crafts. If unsure about qualifying for the market, vendors are encouraged to email greenmarket@wpb.org before filling out an application.
