WEST PALM BEACH, FL A. (September 1, 2019, 1:15pm) -- City garages will remain open until 6pm for parking which is FREE for those people who are bringing their vehicles to garages for protection from the storm. The garage will be closed off to any additional access at 6 p.m. on September 1, 2019 or once garages reach capacity. We will open the garage immediately after we get the ‘all-clear’, and those who have parked in our garages will have 48-hours to remove their vehicles free of charge. After 48-hours, there will be an assessment of $10 per day for each day past the 48-hour free window. Barricades are in place to limit access to one entrance and exit point. Again, vehicles parked in the garages after it closes at 6 p.m. on September 1, 2019 will not be able to be recovered/exit until after the ‘all clear’ notice is given.
