NFL themed activities, special performances, and special guests planned for January 30, 2020
West Palm Beach, Fla. (November 4, 2019) –
Days before Super Bowl LIV in Miami, the Super Bowl Host Committee will team up with the City of West Palm Beach to throw the largest pre-party in Palm Beach County. On Thursday, January 30, 2020 during the City’s popular free weekly concert series, Clematis by Night, the Super Bowl LIV celebration will get the party started with themed football activities, a turf playing field, marching bands, bouncy obstacle courses, NFL players and mascots, giveaways, and much more. The event will be held on the Waterfront at 101 N. Clematis Street from 6 – 9 p.m. and will feature two live entertainment options, offering twice the fun. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite football jerseys and team colors in anticipation of one of the biggest nights in American sports. The event will mark the fourth time that the Super Bowl Host Committee has selected Clematis by Night as the venue for their largest Palm Beach County celebration.
“We are thrilled that the Super Bowl Host Committee has selected Clematis by Night as the venue for its largest Palm Beach County event," said City of West Palm Beach Mayor Keith A. James. “As the NFL celebrates its 100th
season and we celebrate the 125th
anniversary of our City, I can think of no better way to mark these milestones. We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors to the West Palm Beach Waterfront in advance of the big game.”
“Super Bowl LIV will represent the 11th time the Super Bowl has taken place in South Florida, which is more than any other destination in the United States. Although the game will take place further south, Super Bowl LIV will impact the entire South Florida region, including the Palm Beaches. Hosting Super Bowl celebration events, like this one in West Palm Beach, enhances the economic impact, media exposure and community benefits for all of the Palm Beaches.” said George Linley, Executive Director, Palm Beach County Sports Commission.
Super Bowl LIV is scheduled to be played on February 2, 2020. This will be the sixth Super Bowl hosted in Miami Gardens, and the first since Super Bowl XLIV in 2010.
For more than 20 years, Clematis by Night has been West Palm Beach’s favorite Thursday night tradition. During Clematis by Night, “Where the Party Begins,” guests enjoy live music, food and drink specials and the hottest local social scene, creating an unmatched seaside happy hour setting.
