Tracy Brathwaite’s music career began in a living room in the Bronx. With a broom for a microphone and the Jackson 5 as background music, her life-long passion for music was born. Tracy started in musical theatre in school productions and off broadway in New York City, then went on to major success in the dance music market as a singer/songwriter/producer. But her passion for jazz and blues was always at the center. Her love for Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and Nancy Wilson are constant sources of inspiration. Tracy is devoted to keeping the legacy of jazz alive and well. A recent highlight was a sold-out performance of Tracy’s one woman tribute show titled In The Key Of Etta. Performing jazz standards and classics is what Tracy does best. You can tell how much the rich legacy of jazz means to her when you hear her sing! Tracy is currently working on her first jazz album titled Snacks For The Ride to be released in 2025.
