Your Waterfront. Your Way. is a community engagement effort for the downtown waterfront that brings together residents, businesses, local groups, and visitors to work together to develop a shared community downtown waterfront vision. The vision will include short and long-term objectives with the overall goal of an enhanced, equitable, and more resilient waterfront.
Your Waterfront. Your Way. is part of Mayor Keith A. James' commitment to providing an inclusive opportunity for the community to share their downtown waterfront vision.

Overview
The approach will focus more broadly on placemaking, programming, and activation of public spaces that line the waterfront between Flagler Memorial Bridge and Royal Park Bridge. This effort will include a series of public workshops and walkabouts that will help educate the community on different placemaking and programming techniques and solicit feedback on the community's vision for the waterfront. Following the public engagement efforts, the project team will work closely with city staff to conduct an existing conditions analysis and evaluate community feedback to be able to identify short and long-term strategies for placemaking and activation of the waterfront. The total engagement period is expected to span approximately six months and residents will be able to provide feedback through a variety of methods which include public meetings, walkabouts, digital surveys, and in-person data collection.

Your Waterfront. Your Way. hosted three well-attended public meetings in April 2024 to help residents discover the vision and priorities for their ideal waterfront.
